Here are a few of my favorite links that I find helpful. If you are looking for information and having a hard time finding quality resources please reach out!

 

  • Julie Wiebe’s website has amazing information on all things women’s health. She is one of the first physios that I started following and learning from with respect to women’s health.  Julie Wiebe

 

  • The International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) has some great info on their website for patients.
    • A good overview of the pelvic floor, what it is, what it does and basic exercise can be found here
    • A fairly comprehensive list of pelvic floor conditions and patient information handouts can be found here

 

 

  • The Canadian guidelines for physical activity were updated and published in 2019. Its a bit of a read but the full guidelines can be found for free download here

 

  • In 2019 three physio’s put togther the first comprehansive evidence based clinical guideline for returning to running post pregnancy. It is written for clinicians but is free to download if you are interested in having a look. You will need to fill out your info as they are gathering information on who is downloading the guidelines but your info will not be shared. Click here
